Reflection:

I am very content with the unit plan I created.   I would definitely try to use this unit plan in my future classroom; however, there might be some tweeking that needs to be done depending on the school and the grade level I am teaching.  If I were to try this lesson in a classroom, I would definitely have to look over the duration of the lessons.  Some lessons go over sixty minutes, therefore taking up more than one class.

When creating this unit plan, the part that I found the hardest was coming up with activities and combining them to the theme or central idea.  Sometimes I had a goal in mind, but it was finding that video, clip, or book that took the longest time.  I also found it hard to find ten lessons for this unit plan.  I found like I had to stretch out the topic in order to complete the project.

At first I never though doing a website would be this easy.  I’ll admit it takes lots of time and patience, but once you get going it’s extremely simple.  The site was an easy tool to use.  I was able to insert any type of document or video clips.  I would definitely use this site in the future, as well as recommend it to others who want to create a website.

Overall, this unit plan reminded me of my teaching experience.  It allowed me to create all the materials, activities and ideas for the students, just like I did in stage.  Once again, creating this online unit plan demonstrated all the hard work and preparation a teacher must do before entering his or her classroom.
